$10 Job Summary Auntie Kia's Daycare is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to ensure the facility is maintained at the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. This position plays a critical role in supporting a healthy environment for children, staff, and families. This is a split-shift position, requiring availability during both morning and evening hours each day. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all classrooms, restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting Sanitize toys, equipment, and high-touch surfaces in accordance with childcare health standards Remove trash and ensure proper waste disposal procedures are followed Monitor and restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed Assist with scheduled deep cleaning and periodic facility maintenance Maintain entryways and exterior areas to ensure a clean and safe appearance Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred, but not required Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 35 pounds Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain consistent attendance Ability to follow structured cleaning procedures and schedules Requirements Must pass required background screenings, including CPS and APS clearance Must be able to work a daily split shift schedule Must be comfortable working in a childcare environment Pre-employment physical may be required Work Schedule (Split Shift)

Morning Shift:

9:00 AM - 1:00

PM Evening Shift:

5:00 PM - 7:30
