Custodian Maintenance

In this vital role, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks across our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and pristine space for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Your proactive approach to cleaning, repairs, and upkeep will contribute directly to the smooth operation of our organization. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation using commercial cleaning equipment. Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained. Carry out custodial responsibilities in various areas including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces with attention to detail. Assist with general facilities maintenance including minor repairs, painting (residential or commercial), and upkeep of fixtures or equipment. Support industrial cleaning tasks in warehouses or manufacturing areas to maintain safety and cleanliness standards. Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing, and general facilities maintenance. Experience with industrial cleaning tools and equipment is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Able to be at work on time and communicate with supervisor

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
