Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Cleaner to join our team for cleaning assignments scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays, starting after 5 PM. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas on scheduled days Use professional cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure floors, surfaces, and fixtures are spotless and sanitized Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or damage Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly Maintain a high standard of cleanliness while working efficiently within designated timeframes Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a focus on detailed custodial work Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for various flooring types Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled hours Ability to follow safety guidelines and proper handling of cleaning chemicals Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is a plus This position offers a rewarding opportunity for dedicated individuals eager to contribute to clean and safe environments. All jobs are within 30 mins drive of Parkersburg wv. Youll travel to marietta Williamstown southside belpre vienna north end etc. Drive time from job to job is paid. You would get paid from the time you clock in at first job until you clock out at last. Pending you go from job to job. There are many jobs on Tues and fri. This would start out at about 4 hrs tues and fri and ideally go up to about 8 hrs each day once we get into a rythym. Maybe a little more or less. Time varies based on many factors. Drug test and background check are required. Youll have keys and will be sole person responsible for cleanliness of buildings. Youll be alone. Tasks are usually floors bathrooms trash breakbrooms amd dust. Bathrooms include cleaning toilets sinks faucets mirrors and stocking as well as floors and trash. Pay is every Friday direct deposit amd we use quickbooks. We utilize software for you to clock in and out. Residential is an option if you're amazing which many times offers tips. Paid time off annually. Starting pay is 14/hr. 1.00/hr raise after 90 days of good performance. ​
