Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure effective sanitation and maintenance. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle custodial tasks with attention to detail, including waste disposal and restocking supplies. Assist with light maintenance duties as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management. Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities. Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed and report any facility concerns promptly. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, with knowledge of commercial and residential cleaning practices. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Strong custodial skills with attention to detail and a focus on hygiene standards. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently. Experience with facilities maintenance or porter responsibilities is advantageous. Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and equipment is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
