Janitor/Cleaner

Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to ensure a professional appearance Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas following health standards Conduct detailed cleaning of windows, fixtures, furniture, and equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs when necessary Follow safety procedures and use proper cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or safety hazards promptly Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning is a plus Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning equipment Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods and climbing ladders if needed Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts Reliable with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a clean and safe environment while gaining valuable experience in facilities maintenance.
