We are seeking someone who enjoys preparing nutritious meals for children in a positive, family-oriented environment. This position plays an important role in helping create a safe, happy, and healthy experience for the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily Follow CACFP and childcare nutrition guidelines Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and food prep areas Keep accurate food inventory and supply records Ensure food is prepared safely and on schedule Work cooperatively with staff and administration Follow all health department and licensing regulations

Qualifications:

Experience in food service, school, daycare, or commercial kitchen preferred Ability to work independently and stay organized Dependable attendance and positive attitude Must enjoy working around children Food Handler Permit or ability to obtain one Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
