Role:
The Grill Master is the heartbeat of the kitchen, responsible for running the grill station and setting the pace of service. This role ensures orders move quickly and accurately while meeting brand standards for quality, portioning, temperature, and presentation. As a hands-on leader, the Grill Master maintains control of the grill station during peak service, keeps the line organized, and supports the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This fast-paced role requires focus, efficiency, strong communication, and operational awareness to ensure every guest receives consistently high-quality food. The Grill Master leads the kitchen during shifts, trains and supports team members, and works closely with Shift Supervisors and management to keep service running smoothly in a positive, efficient kitchen environment.   • Prepare and cook menu items to brand specifications, ensuring consistent quality, portioning, temperature, and presentation
  • Set the pace of service by moving orders through the line accurately and efficiently
  • Operate the grill with speed and precision during peak periods
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked grill station throughout the shift
  • Lead kitchen execution during shifts, directing workflow and supporting team members
  • Train, mentor, and support new and existing kitchen staff
  • Monitor grill equipment and identify issues to ensure uninterrupted service
  • Communicate clearly with front-of-house staff and management to ensure order accuracy and timing
  • Troubleshoot operational or quality issues in real time and escalate as needed
  • Support prep, plating, and service as required to maintain flow
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards What You'll Bring
  • Experience working in a high-volume kitchen with a strong understanding of food safety
  • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
  • Experience with kitchen tools, equipment, and waste oversight
  • Food Handler or ServSafe certification (preferred) Minimum Requirements
  • At least 6 months of kitchen experience
  • Experience working a fast-paced grill or kitchen line, preferably in QSR or fast-casual
  • Strong focus on speed, accuracy, and multitasking
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Team-oriented with clear, effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
