In this role, you will support the daily operations of our kitchen by preparing ingredients, assisting with food presentation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to a lively, efficient environment that delights our guests and supports our culinary excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced hospitality setting while working alongside experienced professionals. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to prepare dishes efficiently Handle food handling responsibilities in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols Serve guests by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and supporting front-of-house staff as needed Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions when required Contribute to banquet setups and catering events by preparing food items and ensuring timely service delivery Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments with a focus on food handling and preparation Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and culinary practices Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and serve guests warmly Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail Previous banquet experience or hotel culinary background is advantageous but not required Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest services through culinary excellence!
