The Role We're looking for a passionate Pizza Cook to join the heart of our kitchen at Penelope Pizza . This role is all about craftsmanship, consistency, and pride in the details—from hand-stretched dough and blistered crusts to thoughtful toppings and seasonal flavors. You'll be a key player on the line, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the kitchen team to deliver food that's crave-worthy, beautiful, and made with care. What You'll Do Stretch, top, and fire pizzas with precision, speed, and consistency Execute menu items according to Penelope standards, recipes, and specs Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pizza station throughout service Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to keep service smooth and efficient Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards—always Jump in where needed to support the team (because we've got each other's backs) Help create a fun, focused, and high-energy kitchen culture What We're Looking For Experience working a pizza station or high-volume kitchen (wood-fired experience is a plus) Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient during peak service A team-first mindset and positive attitude What We're Looking For 1-2 years of pizza cook experience (wood-fired or Italian-style kitchens a plus). A genuine love of cooking and working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stay cool under pressure and keep the energy positive during a busy service. Reliability, consistency, and pride in your craft. Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).
