Duties Assist with food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards Support cooking processes by following recipes and proper techniques, including knife skills and food handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations Help with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure efficient kitchen operations Serve food to guests or staff in a courteous and timely manner, supporting overall food service efforts Handle food items safely during storage, preparation, and presentation to prevent contamination Contribute to catering events or special meal services as needed, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is preferred Japanese cuisine experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Previous kitchen experience is required. Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly in a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving processes is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your passion for food makes a difference!
