Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming environment for every customer. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly. Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos to enhance their shopping experience. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precise cash handling and basic math skills. Upsell products and promote store merchandise to meet sales goals while providing excellent customer service. Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is clean and inviting. Provide knowledgeable assistance on grocery items or retail products, including product features and benefits. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Supervise or assist in supervising team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions. Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customers. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and perform stocking duties as needed. Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters positive customer interactions. Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous. Demonstrated phone etiquette and upselling techniques to engage customers effectively.
