Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients for meal service Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently and to quality standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety protocols Handle food items safely during storage, handling, and serving to prevent contamination Help with meal assembly and portioning for service or catering events Support food service operations by setting up serving stations and assisting with dish presentation Follow all safety guidelines related to knife skills, food handling, and sanitation to ensure a safe working environment Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is highly advantageous Knowledge of kitchen operations including food handling, meal preparation, and catering support Strong knife skills and ability to assist with various cooking tasks efficiently Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to health regulations Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen staff and service teams This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while contributing to a dynamic team.
