We are 100% woman owned open for 12 years in the heart of Downtown Burbank This job requires a highly motivated, smiling and friendly personality with a great attitude to stock and clean bathrooms, and dry storage shelves, help stock and clean kitchen and bar glassware, bus tables and run dishes through commercial dishwasher, break down boxes, sweep and mop floors, prep food, and clean prep food and kitchen areas. Bagging up and stocking dish towels, Taking trash out at the end of the night. General Cleaning and straightening of public areas, Responsible for overall cleanliness of the kitchen, Lobby, Ticket and Guest areas. Able to work in a team-oriented environment with lots of changes. Reports directly to the General Manager. Also will Prep and Line cook, Set up and stock food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing,and preparing sauces. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness in walk-in cooler and freezer. Complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces, floor drains and entire kitchen cooking spaces at the beginning and end of every shift. Ability to learn new tasks in back of house and assist Managers with anything they may ask in the back of the house. Fun, friendly environment. Hours Part-Time, Mostly Nights 5pm-2am. Reports directly to MOD. Flappers is Open 7 Nights a week, Ability to work weekends is required. Food Handlers & RBS Certificates required.
