The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and team leadership within a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, maintain high standards of food safety, and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to presentation, quality, and consistency. Oversee menu planning, including special dietary options and catering menus. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth food service operations. Lead food production efforts for banquets, fine dining events, and large-scale catering. Monitor food handling procedures to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Manage shift operations, including opening and closing duties, to ensure efficiency. Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in fine dining, banquet service, or restaurant management. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising culinary teams. Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and culinary techniques. Knowledge of inventory management and control processes. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience in catering, hospitality, or the food industry is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for effective team management and customer interaction. Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience managing dietary departments is a plus.
