Non-Exempt Job Summary Laurel Hardware is currently hiring part-time Dishwashers and Prep Cooks to join our Back of House team. This role is responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations while maintaining cleanliness, organization, food preparation standards, and overall kitchen efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, team-oriented, and able to work efficiently under pressure. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas. Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as assigned. Support kitchen setup, breakdown, prep, and closing responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage, prep, and dish areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards. Assist with trash removal, stocking, and overall kitchen upkeep. Communicate effectively with kitchen team and management throughout shifts. Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude during all shifts.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, storage areas, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment Support the culinary team in meal assembly, cooking, and presentation to meet service timelines
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness and organization. PM availability required; AM flexibility is a plus. Weekend and holiday availability is a must. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to frequently bend, lift, reach, and carry products or supplies. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environments.
Pay:
$20.25 - $21.50 per hour
