Job Description

Dietary Food Prep Coordinator (PACE Center-No Cooking) Covina!
Term:
Temporary, 3-4 months
Schedule:
M-F, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay range: $24HR-$26HR BOE Required Qualifications 1. A Food Handler Certification is required 2. Current Valid BLS Certification is required 3.
Bilingual:
English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred. 4. A minimum of two years' experience working in any capacity in the Food Preparation department is required ; with the elderly population and their families, preferably, in a community agency or health care setting is highly preferred. 5. A minimum of one year of experience in leading kitchen services is preferred. Job Overview This position is under the guidance and direct supervision of the PACE Care Center Supervisor. The Food Preparation Coordinator will have direct responsibility for the coordination of all food services, including breakfast and lunch preparations, home meals, center snacks, and special events. Responsible for overseeing the daily duties of the kitchen staff, maintaining records required for Food Safety and Sanitation, and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and ensures that all food preparation meets the standards and regulations.
