Job Description

JJob Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and high-energy Kitchen Crew Member to be the heartbeat of our shop. Unlike traditional boba stores, Molly Tea utilizes advanced automation for drink assembly, meaning our Kitchen Team focuses entirely on quality prep, brewing excellence, and operational efficiency . You will ensure that every tea base and topping is prepared to perfection, keeping our automated systems running smoothly during high-volume rushes.
Responsibilities Brewing & Cooking:
Prepare large batches of high-quality tea bases and cook toppings (like boba, jellies, and puddings) according to precise recipes and timing.
System Support:
Monitor and refill automated drink-making machines with fresh ingredients to ensure zero downtime during peak hours.
Ingredient Prep:
Handle fruit cutting and other food preparation tasks while strictly adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Back-of-House Maintenance:
Maintain a spotless kitchen environment, including dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and trash removal.
Inventory Management:
Organize deliveries, stock shelves, and assist in tracking inventory levels to ensure we never run out of essentials.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to prioritize prep tasks based on the "cup line" volume.
Requirements Speed & Efficiency:
Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment —you are comfortable managing multiple timers and tasks at once.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20-30 lbs (tea containers, bags of sugar/boba). Attention to
Detail:
Precision is key—you follow recipes exactly to ensure consistency in every cup.
Food Safety:
Knowledge of basic food safety protocols (Food Handler's Card required upon hire).
Reliability:
