As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, preparing food items, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the establishment. Duties Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, Toast, for efficient order processing. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining spaces. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Skills Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in sales and upselling techniques is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
