Who We Are:
Thunderbolt Pizza is a fun and casual date night Brooklyn-Style pizzeria offering wine and craft beer in the Bixby Knolls area. We are an extremely busy restaurant so this position is for people who love a fast paced environment and hate standing still. We have QR codes at the brewery next door so there is a lot of running food across the way as we treat it as a second dining area. As a FOH member, you must have excellent social skills and be able to connect with customers in a friendly manner while keeping your head on a swivel to uphold the demands of the restaurant. We have an open kitchen so you must be able to communicate with the back of house respectfully. If you can't engage with customers, this will not be a good fit. We need someone who is able to juggle between being friendly and doing everything else that the job requires.Core Responsibilities :
Customer Service You are able to confidently and clearly communicate with the kitchen, staff, and management Able to learn the POS system (Toast.) Able to input orders correctly and communicate take out times to customers Ensure your area of responsibility is well stocked and maintained, noting when supplies are running low Multitasking between hot food, customers and the needs of the restaurant in real time Properly read tickets to ensure all orders are going out correctly and to the right location (table, brewery, warmer) Maintaining a high level of food safety and standards of cleanliness throughout their shift (certifications required upon hiring)As Required:
restocking, cleaning, opening and closing tasks, and any other duties designated by management and leadPhysical Requirements:
You're able to stand for 8 hours. You can lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to maneuver equipment, kneel, bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks Required forFull Time:
Must be over 21 with an RBS certification Must be able to work Thursday-Sunday. Must be able to work more than a single station. Also accepting Part Time Applicants with Weekend availability. 21+ preferred but not required.Job Types:
