In this vital role, you will support the preparation and presentation of delicious appetizers, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality, freshness, and visual appeal. Duties Assist in the preparation and assembly of appetizer dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Support the kitchen team in food handling, portioning, and garnishing to ensure consistency and quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prepline station, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all food is prepared in a hygienic manner Aid in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and basic cooking under supervision Collaborate with cooks and culinary staff to ensure timely delivery of appetizers during service Help with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or spoilage Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices Experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly Skilled in knife handling, food presentation, and basic culinary skills Familiarity with restaurant or catering environments and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning and supporting the culinary team Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your passion for food meets professional growth!
