Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking friendly, highly motivated team players to join our floor staff team at the historic Vista Theater, located in Hollywood/ Los Feliz area. We are a Film-Only cinema that screens new and repertory films in our main auditorium in either 35mm or 70mm. We also operate Video Archives Cinema Club, which is a micro cinema that screens rare gems on VHS or 16mm. Looking for reliable Part-Time team members who can help us reach our goal of creating a memorable and fun moviegoing experience for every guest. Applicants must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays as we are open every day.
Position available:
Floor Staff (Part-Time)- (Starting rate $18.50hr) As a Concession/Floor Staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests in both the concessions stand and box office. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Availability to work some or all of the following shifts: Weekdays
- afternoons and evening shifts . Weekends
- early morning, afternoons, and nights until 2am.
- Must be reliable and able to attend all scheduled shifts.
- Greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Proactive worker with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Cash handling and operating a POS cash registers.
- Providing support during events and activities.
- Restocking concessions and janitorial supplies.
- Lifting, organizing, and rotating shipments when they arrive.
- Cleaning concessions stand and equipment at the end of the night.
- Assisting with theater operations, including cleaning the lobby and the auditorium frequently, maintenance, and other tasks as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Ability to take and pass Responsible Beverage Service Alcohol Training Exam as we serve alcoholic beverages. (Age 21+ preferred but must be over 18 to apply)
- Either has Food Handlers certification or willing to take and pass it.

- Qualifications
- Must be reliable and able to attend all scheduled shifts including weekends and Holidays .
- Strong customer service skills.
- Accurate POS sales and cash handling.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Age over 18, Age 21+ preferred.
- Flexible availability, consisting of Afternoons, nights, weekends, and Holiday shifts.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
