Job Description
Schedule:
Tuesday thru Saturday (6-8 hours per day)Days/Hours:
Tues.-Thurs. 11 am-7:30 pm | Fri. 5 am-1:30 pm | Sat. 6 am-2:30 pm| Paid training will be Mon. thru Fri. from 5 am to 1:30 pm for 2 weeks upon hire.Start Date:

$20-22.00 per hour/DOE We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Team Leader in our kitchen. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience , be a self-starter , and be able to work with minimal supervision .Requirements:
Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs Strong work ethic and punctuality Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Education & Experience- High school diploma or equivalent certificate; Must have a valid California Food Handler's Certification
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Detail-oriented & experienced in kitchen inventory management, with a strong ability to track stock levels, rotate products, and maintain accurate records to support efficient kitchen operations
- Skilled in monitoring usage patterns and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory
- Reliable, organized, and knowledgeable about food safety & proper storage procedures
- A flexible schedule and a willingness to cover open shifts if needed
- Must speak be bilingual in English/Spanish
- Ability to read and follow instructions, recipes, menus, and food labels correctly
- Previous experience with food preparation is required Essential Functions
- Must live within 10-15 miles of our kitchen (90031)
- Support the mission, vision, and culture of the organization through positive communication with team members
- Must be able to follow instructions, practice good communication, and remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take direction from the Head Cook and work closely with all team members
- Perform food preparation activities such as assembly of food deliveries on schedule, while maintaining regular attendance
- Will assist in receiving and rotating inventory and quality controls
- Follow standard precaution procedures and all safe workplace measures
- Contribute to team effort by being flexible in work assignments and furnishing support where necessary
- Read, interpret, and follow production sheets and menus
- Safely operate all kitchen equipment
- Will clean and sanitize workspace and cooking utensils
- Will assist in checking food orders against menus
