We're looking for energetic, bright, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to assist with food preparation, customer service, and ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable restaurant and food industry experience while working in a fun and energetic setting. This position is perfect for motivated individuals ready to make a splash! Duties Prepare fresh ingredients for poke bowls, including slicing fish, chopping vegetables, and assembling toppings with precision and care Operate POS system to process orders accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling popular options to enhance guest satisfaction Handle transactions responsibly, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy in sales and receipts Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling procedures to ensure freshness and quality of all ingredients served Support team members during busy periods by managing food prep, serving customers quickly, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Compensation Hourly ($16.90) plus tips ($4-$10/hr) Join us at Fishface Poke Bar where your energy fuels our success!
