Starting at $21.25/hour About Us CoCo Ichibanya, known worldwide as "The House of Curry," is excited to open our newest San Diego location in Hillcrest! This location will be the first CoCo Ichibanya restaurant in the United States to serve alcohol, creating a unique dining experience that combines Japanese curry, drinks, and a lively atmosphere. We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented kitchen staff members to join our opening team. Position Summary As a Kitchen Team Member, you will help support all kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. This position includes line cooking, prep work, dishwashing, stocking, cleaning, and supporting overall kitchen flow during busy service periods. We are looking for team members who are flexible, dependable, and willing to support different areas of the kitchen as needed. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards Assist with prep work, stocking, and kitchen organization Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness throughout shifts Support teammates during busy rush periods Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Maintain clean and organized workstations Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff Qualifications Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable and positive attitude Weekend and evening availability preferred Must be legally authorized to work in the United States What We Offer Starting at $21.25/hour Employee meal during shifts Opportunity to be part of a brand-new opening team Growth opportunities within an internationally recognized brand Fast-paced, team-oriented, and supportive work environment If you enjoy working in a busy kitchen environment and want to help build something exciting from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you!
