In this vital role, you will be responsible for all pasta production within the restaurant. Previous pasta production experience is required. Additionally, you will prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly to support smooth kitchen operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food handling, kitchen processes, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries of food supplies and ingredients, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met Properly store perishable items following food safety guidelines to prevent spoilage and contamination Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, measuring, and organizing items for meal preparation Assist with meal prep tasks including assembling dishes, portioning ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness in the prep area Support kitchen staff during busy service times by providing timely food preparation assistance Maintain accurate inventory records of supplies and report shortages or discrepancies promptly Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, sanitation procedures, and knife skills to ensure a safe working environment Experience Must have previous experience in pasta production. Kitchen experience in restaurants or food service establishments provides a strong foundation for success in this role Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods enhances your ability to contribute effectively Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices is essential Experience with catering or serving can be beneficial in understanding diverse food service environments Demonstrated proficiency in knife skills and meal preparation ensures efficiency in daily tasks A background in the food industry or culinary experience supports your ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen setting
