Runner / Expo (Food Runner) -
Fine Dining Restaurant Location:
Parc Bistro - Bankers Hill, next to
Balboa Park Position Overview:
Parc Bistro is seeking an experienced and energetic Runner / Expo to join our fine dining team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff while delivering food accurately and efficiently to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Act as the main communication link between the kitchen and service team. Expedite food orders and ensure plates are presented correctly before leaving the kitchen. Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests. Assist servers during busy service periods. Maintain strong awareness of table numbers, seat positions, and menu items. Ensure food quality, presentation, and timing meet restaurant standards. Support team members with side work and service needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo line and service areas.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Food Runner, Expo, or similar restaurant position preferred. Fine dining experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
$23.01 - $27.71 per hour
