The SSFUSD community includes 15 schools supporting 8,000 students in Daly City, San Bruno, and South San Francisco. Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, lead, oversee and participate in the food service operations including the preparation, heating, serving and selling of food items to meet student needs at a comprehensive high school site or Central Kitchen; maintain the kitchen and serving areas in a safe, clean and orderly condition; requisition, receive and store food and supplies; train and provide work direction to assigned staff. Qualifications Education and Experience:
Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above and one year experience in the preparation and serving of food in large quantities.
Licenses and Other Requirements:
  • Valid and appropriate food service certificate(s).
  • Valid California Class C driver's license,
  • Incumbents are required to adhere to the annual minimum required training hours for School Nutrition Staff per the USDA Guide to Professional Standards for School Nutritional Programs.
