This role involves guiding guests through our menu, delivering thoughtful and efficient service, working closely with the kitchen and bar, and helping maintain the friendly, fast-paced atmosphere that has made Buck's a local favorite. The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, team-oriented, and able to stay organized and upbeat while providing genuine hospitality. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service to enhance their dining experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling A strong understanding of the menus Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service and smooth restaurant operations Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean work environment Skills Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Toast for efficient cashiering and sales transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a vibrant team that values energy, enthusiasm, and dedication!
