Job Description

VIN48 is seeking a Chef Tournant to join our culinary team led by Ryan Champion . Located in the heart of Vail Valley , VIN48 is a chef-driven scratch kitchen and award-winning wine bar focused on seasonal cuisine, live-fire cooking, and genuine hospitality. We work closely with Colorado ranches, farms, and purveyors to source many of our proteins, herbs, and produce, with menus that evolve throughout the year. We're a small, passionate team that values professionalism, creativity, consistency, and a strong kitchen culture. Responsibilities Work closely with Chef Ryan Champion and the culinary team to improve kitchen organization, execution, and efficiency Lead and execute the wood-fired grill station 3-4 shifts per week Assist with seasonal menu development and implementation (4-6 menu changes annually) Maintain high standards for plating, consistency, cleanliness, and organization Support training and development across all stations Help foster a positive, disciplined, team-oriented kitchen environment Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume open kitchen while maintaining attention to detail Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in a high-level kitchen Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Positive, professional attitude Ability to stay organized and composed under pressure Passion for hospitality, food, and continuous improvement Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Benefits Paid Epic Pass Health insurance Paid time off Opportunity to grow within a creative, ambitious kitchen and hospitality team in one of Colorado's premier mountain communities If you're passionate about seasonal cooking, live-fire cuisine, and being part of a tight-knit restaurant team that cares deeply about hospitality and craft, we'd love to hear from you.
