As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pastry Assistant to join our team. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Pastry Assistant who is eager to learn and assist in the daily production of our pastries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a passion for baking, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to refine their pastry skills while working with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards. Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients under the guidance of the Lead Pastry Chef. Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of ingredients and finished products. Help with decorating and finishing pastries with precision and creativity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a high standard of quality. Support the team in restocking and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is a plus. Basic knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and take direction from senior chefs. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality pastries. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude. Willingness to learn and grow within the company. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required. Compensation Details Compensation:
Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00) plus tips
