Duties Prepare food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Operate POS system Toast to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with care. Deliver exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience. Maintain food safety standards by following proper handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and food industry regulations. Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies to ensure smooth service flow. Support kitchen operations through basic food preparation tasks and quick service techniques in a fast casual setting. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Experience Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS system Toast is a plus, along with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience working in quick service restaurants or other food industry settings will help you excel in this role. Strong customer service skills are essential for creating positive interactions with guests from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is key to success here.
