Overview Join our team here and help us grow our kitchen in the heart of downtown Crystal River. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes to meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing work surfaces. Support cooking and baking activities under the supervision of head chefs or kitchen managers. Handle food safety protocols diligently, ensuring proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients. Serve food to guests in a timely and courteous manner, supporting the serving staff as needed. Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to uphold cleanliness standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued. Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is advantageous. Experience with food preparation, cooking, or banquet service enhances your suitability for this role. Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and guest interactions. Prior hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
