In this role, you will play a vital part in food preparation and service, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and have experience in catering, restaurants, or dietary departments. You will assist in creating delicious meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards. Support the culinary team in catering events and daily meal service within the dietary department. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help in inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus.
