You are responsible for top notch cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times. You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other's success in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows and reinforces The Melting Pot culture around the MVP card and Perfect Night Out. Practices teamwork by communicating with and assisting all members of the restaurant team, promoting positive interaction between all team members. Adheres to and maintains company policies and standards, complying with uniform standards, appearance and grooming best practices and federal, state and local laws and guidelines concerning alcoholic beverages and food safety. Follows all of the company's specifications and procedures to ensure Exceptional Food. Follows all food rotation and re-stocking procedures using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. Follows and uses all food safety procedures and logs. Uses checklists to ensure proper set-up and close down of each shift and effective time management. • Immediately documents and reports repairs and maintenance issues. Understand our Guest-Obsessed culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience. Prepare uncooked ingredients and follow strict recipes. Use proper portioning techniques. Read tickets to determine what/when items need to be prepared. Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces to ensure station is clean and sanitized at all times. REQUIREMENTS
Ability to understand and follow direction from others. Ability to read recipes and memorize and replicate food production procedures. Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment. Skill and coordination with kitchen utensils and equipment.
