Responsibilities Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency in every sandwich and side. Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros to process orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions with precision. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and answering questions about menu options. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions and product knowledge. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, dining areas, and food handling equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food handling duties such as slicing meats, assembling sandwiches, and managing food storage to ensure freshness and safety. Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and performing other duties that keep the restaurant running smoothly during busy hours. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus; strong basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math tasks. Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail sectors will help you excel in this position. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly valued. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail is crucial for success. Culinary experience or kitchen work background can be advantageous but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning new skills is key!
