Duties Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support food handling procedures in accordance with food safety regulations to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of hospitality and guest service. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable, enthusiasm for learning is key! Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced setting. Experience with cooking techniques or culinary training is a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency but can be learned on the job.
