Duties Set up and present Japanese food samples at designated locations, ensuring attractive and hygienic displays that entice customers. Engage with shoppers confidently, sharing product knowledge and cultural insights to enhance their tasting experience. Collect customer feedback and data during sampling events to inform marketing strategies and improve product offerings. Promote brand awareness through active participation in event marketing activities, including demonstrations and promotional campaigns. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering product recommendations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Assist in coordinating product demos and sampling schedules to maximize outreach during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for food and customer interaction is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in both English and Japanese (bilingual skills are a plus). Familiarity with data collection methods or customer feedback tools to gather insights effectively. Experience managing social media accounts or creating engaging content for marketing purposes is advantageous. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high energy levels. Knowledge of event marketing techniques and public speaking skills will help you excel in this role.
