Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages efficiently, following food safety and sanitation standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment through regular bussing, sanitation, and food handling procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic cooking, assembling orders, and ensuring quality standards are met. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing concerns promptly. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities such as cashiering, serving, or food prep with efficiency and professionalism. Experience Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in cashiering, upselling, or retail math helps in maximizing sales opportunities. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Background in culinary arts or restaurant work provides a solid foundation for success in this role.
