We are seeking an experienced, motivated Expeditor to help lead kitchen operations and maintain the standards that define our food and culture. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for Japanese cuisine. Responsibilities Work and manage a busy Expo window for service 4-5 days a week Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of both in house orders and togo orders Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste control Lead prep and service shifts, delegating tasks and maintaining workflow Train and mentor kitchen staff on technique, organization, and consistency Support menu execution, specials, and seasonal offerings Qualifications Previous experience in a high-level kitchen environment Must be fluent in both English and Spanish Organized, calm, and reliable during service Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Schedule & Compensation Full-time Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth within the restaurant Yuji is a focused, craft-driven kitchen looking for someone who takes pride in consistency, technique, and teamwork.
