Responsibilities Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients according to established recipes and standards Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients onto small trays for the cooks. Reading tickets from servers and take-out specialist. Cooking fried rice and steam rice. Making noodles as necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and proper use of kitchen tools such as knives Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is an asset Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations Embark on a rewarding journey in the culinary world by joining our team as a Kitchen Helper.
