Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist with food handling, cooking, and meal preparation to ensure timely service Follow food safety protocols diligently to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to sanitation guidelines Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food service and smooth workflow Assist with catering events or special meal requests as needed Properly handle knives and kitchen tools, demonstrating safe practices at all times Experience Prior Knowledge of how to handle the preparation of Nigeria/West African cuisine Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is preferred Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and food safety standards is essential Familiarity with kitchen equipment, knife skills, and meal assembly techniques is advantageous Background in the food industry or (West African/Nigerian) culinary experience will support success in this role Strong understanding of food service operations, including catering and serving responsibilities Join us as a Food Preparer and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering delicious meals with care and professionalism.
