In this role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and contribute to a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your energy and teamwork will be essential in delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced hospitality setting. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills and gain valuable restaurant experience. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to safety regulations Support the serving team by delivering food to tables promptly and accurately Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions Contribute to banquet setups and service as needed for special events or large groups Ensure all food items are stored correctly and inventory is managed efficiently Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions Experience with cooking techniques and food preparation methods Previous banquet, hotel, or culinary experience can enhance your contribution to our team Customer service orientation with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers Join us in creating exceptional dining experiences!
