Substitute Kitchen Staff

The Alburnett Community School District is seeking Substitute Kitchen Staff to provide coverage on an as-needed basis when regular staff are absent.

Qualifications:

Have the physical capability to do the lifting required in connection with the preparation, serving, and clean-up of school lunches Possess basic knowledge of food preparation Experience working around children preferred

Essential Functions:

Aid in the preparation, serving, and cleaning up of meals as directed. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness. Prepare food according to a planned menu and tested, uniform recipes, and determine if the finished product is of best quality both in flavor and appearance before it is served. Report any faulty or inferior quality equipment which is received or used. Abide by all rules and procedures of the school and applicable state and federal regulatory agency. Perform all other duties as assigned.
