Responsibilities Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients under supervision Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining organized workstations Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety standards and sanitation regulations Help with meal plating and serving to ensure timely delivery of dishes Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout your shift Support catering and special event setups by preparing trays and assisting with food presentation Follow all dietary department guidelines and assist in menu planning as directed by kitchen supervisors Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is preferred but not required Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is advantageous Strong knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation methods are a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new culinary skills Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks Embark on a rewarding journey in the culinary field by applying your passion for food service!
