In this role, you'll be responsible for taking customer orders at the register, working the drive-through, and assisting with food preparation and food handling in the kitchen. You'll be expected to provide friendly, efficient service, keep your work area clean, and follow proper food safety standards throughout your shift. This is a hands-on position that requires you to move between the front counter, drive-through, and kitchen as needed. Duties Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness of the food prep area, dining space, and cashier station through regular bussing and sanitation practices Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or safety Assist with food handling responsibilities including stocking supplies, food prep, and ensuring proper storage procedures Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining accuracy in cashiering tasks Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling Experience working in a café or retail grocery store environment is a plus for understanding diverse customer needs Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for food industry excellence meets your talent for delivering outstanding service.
