Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and assisting guests as needed. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy in sales records. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist in food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, managing food storage, and supporting kitchen operations with basic culinary skills. Support overall restaurant operations by managing time effectively during busy periods and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service flow. Stay busy during slower moments by proactively seeing what needs to be done such as washing the tables, sweeping the front or back, organizing the stations, etc. Able to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 30 lbs occasionally Experience Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles within quick service or fast-food restaurants is preferred but not required. Experience in customer service roles that involve serving guests, cashiering, or retail math is highly valued. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential for maintaining a safe environment. Prior restaurant experience or background in the food industry helps in understanding the fast-paced nature of the role and delivering excellent service. Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while multitasking across various responsibilities such as bussing, serving, and food prep.
