Responsibilities Coordinate between kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure seamless food delivery and presentation. Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing to meet quality standards and aesthetic appeal. Support servers by bussing tables, refilling stations, and managing food runners during busy service times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station, ensuring compliance with food safety protocols. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests, dietary restrictions, or timing adjustments. Monitor food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination. Contribute to a positive dining atmosphere by providing friendly service support and ensuring guest satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, plating, and presentation standards. Experience working in kitchens with an understanding of culinary practices and food safety regulations. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with guests. Familiarity with food handling procedures, serving etiquette, and hospitality best practices. Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus; willingness to learn and adapt quickly is essential.
