Responsibilities Support lead contractors and skilled tradespeople with various remodeling tasks including demolition, installation, and finishing work. Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites to maintain a safe and organized workspace. Handle hand tools and power tools safely while assisting with tasks such as cabinet installation, tile laying, flooring, drywall work, and painting. Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to help accurately execute project plans. Aid in the installation of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, cabinets, doors, trim carpentry elements, and glass features. Support the operation of heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Ensure compliance with safety standards by adhering to proper procedures for caulking, plastering, masonry, roofing, stucco application, concrete finishing, and other construction activities. Experience Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or remodeling projects is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics is advantageous. Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, or masonry is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when needed.
