Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Expo (Expeditor) to join our team at Crave. The Expo plays a vital role in ensuring that food orders are accurately prepared, plated, and delivered to guests promptly. Acting as the bridge between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, the Expo ensures smooth communication, quality control, and efficient service.

Responsibilities:

Order Coordination:

Manage incoming orders from the front-of-house staff, ensuring they are correctly transmitted and prioritized in the kitchen.

Quality Control:

Inspect dishes for presentation, temperature, and accuracy before they leave the kitchen. Ensure all items meet the restaurant's quality standards.

Timing and Accuracy:

Monitor ticket times and ensure that all items for a table are completed and sent out together.

Communication:

Serve as the liaison between kitchen staff and servers, addressing any issues or special requests to ensure seamless service.

Problem-Solving:

Quickly resolve any discrepancies or delays in orders to maintain guest satisfaction.

Stock and Supplies:

Monitor and restock expo station supplies, such as garnishes, plates, and utensils, to keep the workflow uninterrupted.

Cleanliness and Organization:

Maintain a clean, organized expo station to promote efficiency and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred. Excellent communication and multitasking skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Team player with a positive and professional attitude. Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety guidelines is a plus. Why Join Us?
