Restaurant Team Member

Job Overview:

At Combs Pizza, we're not just serving pizza, we're operating a neighborhood go-to. Every great shift starts long before the first order comes in, and the prep behind the scenes is just as important as what comes out of the oven. We're looking for dependable, team-oriented people who can move between kitchen prep, service, and potentially delivery, and who take pride in doing things right from the first chop to the final box.

What You'll Do:

Prep ingredients (chopping vegetables, portioning dips, preparing sauces) Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO) Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation. Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shifts Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through proper food handling, bussing tables, and cleaning workstations regularly. Package orders accurately for pickup and delivery Deliver orders in a timely and professional manner (if/when scheduled for delivery shifts) Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Assist with food safety practices by following sanitation protocols and ensuring proper food storage procedures. Support the team wherever needed, especially during busy rushes

Requirements:

Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting supplies or bussing tables. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

Part-time and near full-time roles available. Evening and weekend availability preferred.

Pay:

$8.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 32.0 per week
